The best way to keep food warm at your party:

Chafers will keep your food warm without burning it during your Graduation party or event for up to four hours or more. Your stove & oven will be freed up for other tasks.

Move your food out of the kitchen and into your dining room (or other room). Your guests will have more space to serve themselves at the buffet, and the kitchen can be used for getting the dessert ready. The kids can have their own food area in the family room or den with supervision from an older family member or friend, of course.

Stainless steel 8 quart chafers professionally display food for your guests while allowing easy self-serve access

Different types of food can be served to large groups of guests from individual eight quart chafers. For smaller groups, consider serving two different types of food out of one 8 quart chafer by inserting two 4 quart foil pans into the eight quart pan.

Chafer Tip: Pre-cook all your chafer-bound food in foil pans (8 quart or 4 quart). This is a great way to save time. Everything can be prepared or bought ahead of time and then placed into the chafers. When the party is over, take the foil pans out of the rental chafers and put them in the refrigerator. For leftovers, just spoon out what you need or place the whole foil pan in the oven.

How to keep food warm at a party - with style:

Add elegance to your food service table with deluxe chafers - they are available in 8 quart and 5 quart sizes.

The five quart "Camelot" chafer is polished stainless steel with ornate handles and legs. The eight quart chafer is brushed stainless steel also with ornate handles and legs - both the deluxe chafers have matching styles so they can be used together.

The five quart chafer is a good choice for smaller parties or when you have a large selection of hot food on your menu.

The trick to getting the sterno to last longer in all chafers is to pre-heat the water on your stove, pour it into the chafer's water pan, and then use the sterno to keep it hot (instead of using the sterno to heat up cold water). Be careful of splashing when doing this and make sure no one is near by to avoid burns.
Make a hot dessert to serve out of a chafer so you will have enough for everyone at your event. Your favorite dessert will never run short served in in an 8 quart chafer pan - you will be sure to have plenty of dessert to go around. Any pie in its own round pie tin can be placed inside the chafer to warm it up prior to serving.
