Forty Wide pole tents have a single pole in the center of the tent only every twenty feet. The tent's computer designed top is built to carry its weight on the center poles and side poles around the edges of the tent. Ten thousand pound capacity ratchet straps are then used with stakes to tighten the top. The stakes and straps are used on all sides of the tent. Stakes are driven into the ground approximately six feet away from all four sides of the tent. This means the area required for a 40 x 40 Pole Tent is about 52 x 52.

The forty foot wide pole tent is used when your guest count gets beyond 90. It is used for many types of events and parties, including weddings. The tent's interior design gives it a vaulted ceiling look that is perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The high peaks of this pole tent also give it dramatic from outside the tent.
A 40x40 Pole Tent will cover 160 guests seated at tables for dining. If a food service area (buffet) is needed under the same pole tent, the tent size will need to be increased to 40x50 or 40x60 depending on how the food service is designed. Dance Floors, Bands, Beverage Stations, and anything that is required to be under the tent will have to be factored into the tent size to allow adequate space.
